About Me and The Colony

Jim Westfield: 33 10'01 N / 120 07'32 W, California (sort of), United States; This blog is about everything that happens on Pacific Fisheries Colony D. We're located maybe 120-130 miles off of the coast of Los Angeles out in the Pacific Ocean. I started keeping this thing during my second summer on the colony. I didn’t think much about doing it during my first trip and I’m still not sure why I’m doing it now. Maybe it just helps to make sense of it all – if not now, then maybe later. Maybe I'll write a book about it all.
